Do you remember the names Fabulous Moolah, “Sensational” Sherri Martel, Wendi Richter or Miss Elizabeth? Once upon a time they were the women of the WWE (or the WWF as it was known back in the day).

Then another generation of “Divas” came along with the likes of Stacy Keibler, Lita, Sable, Chyna and Trish Stratus among many.

The one thing that they all had in common? They way they were marketed. And not always in the best ways.
